Courage Culture Club is a grass-roots, family-based organization created in 2023 to support families of children (of any age) with special needs / intellectual disabilities in the Halton region.

Our focus is to support all members of the family to ensure they feel part of a community and are connected and mentored in order to get the supports they require and deserve, especially where there are gaps in service.  Some areas where we have identified gaps include:

• Families with children with special needs having community space and opportunities to connect and participate as a whole family (rather than just one parent at a time) without any fear of being stigmatized;
• After school support for youth and young adults with special needs;
• Day programs for youth and adults with complex needs who require more support; and
• Opportunities for these children to participate and give back to their community in whatever way is possible for them.

It takes courage to step out of your comfort zone.  Our hope is to build up all members of these families with hope, courage, and opportunities to participate and feel that they are engaged in a meaningful life.  

Courage Culture Club's goal is to address all these identified needs over the next few years. Your donation will help us raise money to accomplish this goal.
