Currently we use PayPal to collect payments.  We are currently investigating other payment platforms but most work similarly to PayPal and charge us a service fee (some more than others).  Not using PayPal at this time makes ticket sale tracking more administrating arduous for us.  

Please note that you do not need to be subscribed to PayPal to pay via PayPal.  

From our events we know that some people do not like to use PayPal so the alternate we can offer is to send payment via e-transfer to [email protected] AND send an email and the application form to [email protected] to advise that you have e-transferred payment for CRaP4Kids Hang-Out .  Please include in your email:

- name of participant

- your name and contact information (phone #s / email address)

We will be looking at the activities participants enjoy and creating a program that will take these things into account.  

Some of the activities will include music, dancing, creating / building, conversations, games, guest visitors, and the like.  When the weather is better we may go for walks, to the park, for ice cream or other treat. 

Participants should bring with them a water bottle / drink.  Since the program will start right after lunch and end before dinner snacks will not normally be part of the program.  If a participant needs to eat during that time then that will need to be explained in the application.  

The program is designed to enable participants with any complex need to participate, however please understand that there is no one to one support at this time.  If your special person needs one to one support then he or she needs to be accompanied by someone who can provide this support during the program. 

The location is fully accessible through a side door off the large parking lot.  Hang Outs will be happening in the large gym which is to the right just past the coat racks.  Come in - you'll find us easily!  The gym is located directly to your right.  Washrooms are in that hallway and also directly off the gym.

Through 2025 our events and Hang Outs have not made enough money to subsidize this program so it is being funded completely through cost recovery.   We are working on changing this through 2026. 

Unlike most day programs, we are trying to keep the ratio of staff to participant at 1:5.    Therefore, if you register and book a space then, unless we have a waitlist and can fill the spot, we will not be able to refund the fee.
