Currently we use PayPal to collect ticket payments.  We are currently investigating other payment platforms but most work similarly to PayPal and charge us a service fee (some more than others).  Not using PayPal at this time makes ticket sale tracking more administrating arduous for us.  

Please note that you do not need to be subscribed to PayPal to pay via PayPal.  

We know that some participants do not like to use PayPal so the alternate we can offer is to send $27 via e-transfer to [email protected] AND send an email to [email protected] to advise that you have e-transferred payment for the Game Time event.  Please include in your email:

- name of ticket holder(s)

- confirm that all participants attending are aged 19 and older

- phone #s / email addresses for participants

You can do a paint time event without charcuterie!  So nibble away while painting and chatting. Water and mocktails will also be available.   

Glad you asked!  The painting is floral and will take the entire 3 hours to complete.  While waiting for paint to dry there will be opportunities to connect with each other or wander the halls of QEP admiring the art that has been created in that space. 

Please don't feel like you shouldn't come because you'd be coming alone or don't have anyone you can ask to come with you.  (Sorry for the double negative in that sentence! ;))  If you come you will not be left alone!  The afternoon events will inspire conversation, some laughs, and hopefully some new friendships. 

Queen Elizabeth Park Community Centre has a huge parking lot including several disabled parking spots.

When we work with a caterer or need to give the venue the specific number of attendees, we need to provide the number of attendees to the caterer/venue well enough in advance so the caterer can prepare.   Once you register we tell the caterer/venue that you are attending.

So if you are not able to attend we are not able to refund your ticket unless there is someone on our waitlist who is able to take your place.  If we don't have a waitlist then you can provide your ticket to someone else to attend in your place.  Thanks for your understanding.  Please know that by purchasing a ticket you are supporting the Courage Culture Club!  

Georgia was a bubbly special little girl born with a genetic disease called Lesch Nyhan Syndrome who passed in July 2023. While caring for her, her parents realized what helped them cope with the day to day weight of her challenging health issues was the opportunity for Sarah to escape for 24 hours to sleep, pray, cry, journal and breathe.  She would then return home more rested and ready to face the challenges again with a new energy and perspective.  

Following the death of Georgia they decided to transform Georgia's main floor bedroom into a respite suite for mamas  to have the same life-giving opportunity.  

The space they have created for mama respite is beautiful, calming and peaceful.  The suite has a separate entrance from their home so the mama who goes to stay has 24 hours  of uninterrupted time to herself.

The suite is located in the Thorold-Niagara area.  

Please note that the suite is only suitable for one occupant.
