This event is being catered and will include the following:  a selection of tea sandwiches, scones with jam and whipped cream, a selection of desserts, and tea or coffee.  You won't be wanting dinner afterwards!

When you register and pay the registration fee you will be asked to identify if you are gluten or dairy intolerant.  There will are some gluten free sandwich / scone / dessert options, but unfortunately most of these can't be made without dairy.  So if you are dairy-free there will be a selection of items that you will be able to eat.  

If you are vegan / vegetarian there will be a sandwich option available as well.

Please note that it is important that you identify during registration that you will require gluten free or dairy free options. 

Glad you asked!  Yes there will be although mostly this is an opportunity for us to come together and get to know each other!  

Please don't feel like you shouldn't come because you'd be coming alone or don't have anyone you can ask to come with you.   If you come you will not be left alone!  We will be sitting in tables of 8 and everyone will be encouraged to meet not only those at their table but at other tables too.  

The afternoon events will inspire conversation, some laughs, and hopefully some new friendships. 

Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre has enough parking!  Those who aren't able to walk far, though, may want to plan to arrive on time or even a few minutes early to grab one of the parking spots around the building.  Those who come later will need to park in the parking lot up by the road.

When we work with a caterer or need to give the venue the specific number of attendees, we need to provide the number of attendees to the caterer/venue well enough in advance so the caterer can prepare.   Once you register we tell the caterer/venue that you are attending.

So if you are not able to attend we are not able to refund your ticket unless there is someone on our waitlist who is able to take your place.  If we don't have a waitlist then you can provide your ticket to someone else to attend in your place.  Thanks for your understanding.
